The silence of eternity?

I'm beginning to think that I'm going to have to wait until I cross into eternity to hear the sound of silence!

I went to the Roman Catholic shrine first, and there was a man cutting the hedge with an electric cutter right outside the Slipper Chapel. When I arrived at the Anglican shrine, it was quiet - for about five minutes! Then a school party came in.....
