I now know why people walk to Santiago!

We got into the cathedral today, but by the time we'd fought the traffic and parked the car, we were too late for the service. They have one every day at noon for the newly-arrived pilgrims. We're going to try again tomorrow, because it must be a really exhilarating experience to be with so many people. The Cathedral is very nice, and a good place to pray.
