The folks back home

As well as ourselves, we also can't leave behind those we love and pray for. Some people said 'Go away and forget all about the parishes.' I hope that I can forget about some of the admin and routine work, but hope to spend more time praying for people, not less.

I was greatly heartened as I was preparing to go by all the lovely verbal and written 'bon voyage' messages. It is super to know that I have the kind thoughts of so many people with me. Especially when I go off on my own in a few days, I won't feel lonely when I think of so many friends back home.
