Heading out

Here I am on the quay at Portsmouth - will be boarding the Mont St Michel any time now. I realised recently that it is 50 years since I first crossed the Channel - I went to Expo 58 in Brussels with my parents when I was five. Seems a good time to be taking off in a way I haven't before.
