Interior of Seville Cathedral
This is the third largest cathedral after St Peter's in Rome and St Paul's in London. It is very spectacular, but sadly another church that has effectively become a museum, with a charge to go in, and no sense of being a place of worship. There is a chapel set aside for prayer, but I couldn't see any way in!
When we went to Chartres a few years ago, we were very impressed by the way that they dealt with vast numbers of visitors, without the shushing of Sacre Couer, the barriers of San Marco, or making a charge. I do hope it's still the same.
